HANCOCK

There are heroes... there are superheroes... and then there's
Hancock (Will Smith). With great power comes great responsibility
- everyone knows that - everyone, that is, but Hancock. Edgy,
conflicted, sarcastic, and misunderstood, Hancock's well-intentioned
heroics might get the job done and save countless lives, but always
seem to leave jaw-dropping damage in their wake. The public has
finally had enough - as grateful as they are to have their local
hero, the good citizens of Los Angeles are wondering what they
ever did to deserve this guy. Hancock isn't the kind of man who
cares what other people think - until the day that he saves the
life of PR executive Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman), and the sardonic
superhero begins to realize that he may have a vulnerable side
after all. Facing that will be Hancock's greatest challenge yet
- and a task that may prove impossible as Ray's wife, Mary (Charlize
Theron), insists that he's a lost cause.
KUNG-FU
PANDA (PG) Action, Adventure
Jack Black heads the voice cast as Po the Panda, the laziest of
all the animals in the Valley of Peace. With powerful enemies
at the gates, all hope has been pinned on an ancient prophesy
that a hero will rise to save the day. But among all the martial
arts masters who come forward, none has shown the mark of The
Chosen One ... until now. When Po unwittingly shows up in the
midst of the competition, the masters are shocked to see that
this unmotivated panda bears the mark. Now it is up to them to
turn this gentle giant into a kung fu fighter before it's too
late.
GET SMART (PG) Action, Comedy
In the all-new action comedy "Get Smart," Maxwell Smart
(Steve Carell) is on a mission to thwart the latest plot for world
domination by the evil crime syndicate known as KAOS.
When the headquarters of U.S. spy agency Control is attacked and
the identities of its agents compromised, the Chief (Alan Arkin)
has no choice but to promote his ever-eager analyst Maxwell Smart,
who has always dreamt of working in the field alongside stalwart
superstar Agent 23 (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson). Smart
is partnered instead with the only other agent whose identity
has not been compromised: the lovely-but-lethal veteran Agent
99 (Anne Hathaway). As Smart and 99 get closer to unraveling KAOS'
master plan-and each other-they discover that key KAOS operative
Siegfried (Terence Stamp) and his sidekick Shtarker (Kenneth Davitian)
are scheming to cash in with their network of terror. Given little
field experience and even less time, Smart-armed with nothing
but a few spy-tech gadgets and his unbridled enthusiasm-must defeat
KAOS if he is to save the day.

DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN (M) Action, Comedy

Apatow, Sandler stars as Zohanm an Israeli commando who fakes
his own death in order to pursue his deam; becoming a hairstylist

CLOVERFIELD

Five young New Yorkers throw their friend a going-away party the
night that a monster the size of a skyscraper descends upon the
city. Told from the point of view of their video camera, the film
is a document of their attempt to survive the most surreal, horrifying
event of their lives.
JUNO
(M) Comedy, Drama
stars Ellen Page as the title character, a whip-smart teen confronting
an unplanned pregnancy by her classmate Bleeker (Cera). With the
help of her hot best friend Leah (Thirlby), Juno finds her unborn
child a "perfect" set of parents: an affluent suburban
couple, Mark and Vanessa (Bateman and Garner), longing to adopt.
Luckily, Juno has the total support of her parents (Simmons and
Janney) as she faces some tough decisions, flirts with adulthood
and ultimately figures out where she belongs.

Robert Neville (Will Smith) is a brilliant scientist, but even
he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable,
incurable... and manmade. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last
human survivor in what is left of New York City... and maybe the
world. But he is not alone. He is surrounded by "the Infected"-victims
of the plague who have mutated into carnivorous beings who can
only exist in the dark and who will devour or infect anyone or
anything in their path. For three years, Neville has spent his
days scavenging for food and supplies and faithfully sending out
radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might
be out there. All the while, the Infected lurk in the shadows,
watching Neville's every move, waiting for him to make a fatal
mistake. Perhaps mankind's last, best hope, Neville is driven
by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects
of the virus using his own immune blood. But his blood is also
what The Infected hunt, and Neville knows he is outnumbered and
quickly running out of time.

ENCHANTED

A classic Disney animated fairy tale meets with modern, live-action

land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of
modern-day Manhattan.
HAIRSPRAY
(PG)
"Hairspray" is originally based on the 1988 John
Waters comedy about star-struck teenagers on a local Baltimore
dance show. The new version of the film is based on New Line's
hit Broadway adaptation of the film, which debuted in 2002, and
went on to win eight Tony Awards. Travolta will play Edna Turnblad
and Queen Latifah will play Motormouth Maybelle in the film.

RATATOUILLE (PG)
Remy is a rat, constantly risking life in an expensive French
restaurant because of his love of good food, as well as a desire
to become a chef. Yet, obviously, this is a rather tough dream
for a rat. But opportunity knocks when a young boy, who desperately
needs to keep his job at the restaurant, despite his lack of cooking
abilities, discovers and partners the young Remy. Its up to the
two of them to avoid the insane head chef, bring the rest of Remy's
family up to his standards, win his partner a girl, and, of course,
produce the finest Ratatouille in all of France.
